An Insight Into Our Business

Bentley Ridge Tree Farm & Nursery was established in 2006. We planted our first generation of trees in 2008 at our Urbandale Location, and we then spanned out across 30 acres and had the capacity to house around 25,000 trees and shrubs.

 

At our Urbandale location, we learned the basics of nursery production and how to grow plants in a root control bag. This knowledge has helped us expand the business to our huge 80-acre Grimes facility.

 

Our Grimes retail location features thousands of trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, annuals, fruits, veggies, garden décor products, fertilizers, pesticides, and more. Our large 7.5-acre plant display area allows us to carry a huge inventory of plants, so we almost always have a large inventory to view.

 

We aren't done growing yet. Our field operation when fully constructed will house around 50,000 plants in total.

Our Team

Our team at Bentley Ridge puts the well-being of our plants first. We understand what it takes to make our plants the most resilient and hardy specimens possible. Each of the members of our team has learned, through experience, the necessary steps to grow and nourish our plants so that they can thrive in our tough Iowa climate. We take the time to make sure the plants that our customers receive are of the highest quality. More than anything, we love to help our customers! Not only do we want our customers to leave with phenomenal plants that will make their landscaping look better, but also a knowledge of how to keep their outdoor spaces looking great year after year. All of the staff at Bentley Ridge Tree Farm take great pride in making sure that you have all your needs met while working with us.
